Packaging of the world's spiciest noodles.  Hi Loves! I want to share with you guys my personal experience tasting the spiciest noodle in the world. Okay! The first time that I ever heard of Spicy korean noodle was when I saw a video on YouTube called 'Fire Noodle Challenge". I really got curious of what it's all about so I clicked and saw it's just something about people eating noodles which is said to be the spiciest noodle so far. After the end of the video my reaction was "OKAY?" Is that it? I mean I think the challenge would be easy for me Because being a spicy loving person I think it wouldn't be that special. As I browse I saw there's tons of the same videos and honestly I really cannot understand what's the hype is all about. I have always been a fan of Spicy foods. I love everything about chili. I incorporate this little monster almost to every of my meal. So I had really high hopes for myself that eating anything spicy woul

Wet and Wild Mocha-licious Lipstick Hi Loves! This is my very first product review here on my Blog. As mentioned on my earlier post, I am a make-up fanatic. I love everything about it. I don't know, it just make me feel better and contented. Have you ever had that feeling? Haha! If you do, a high-five for that. Okay, so one of my office friend (Thanks Carla!) went to the US and guess what I just asked her to buy for me? Yeah your right! Make-up! Lol. Lipsticks in particular. I went and browsed my uncle "Google" to look for lipstick shades that I feel would suit me. And ofcourse won't break Carla's Bank. LOL. I happened to encounter Wet and Wild Mocha-licious lipstick. So I told her to buy it for me. Alright so moving on to the day that she eventually hand over this gorgeous lil monster that gave me an ecstatic feeling to try it on right there and then. The  lipstick cost $1.99 (P300.00-P400.00 in the Philippines) which is way cheaper than other lipstick

My First ever Tteokbokki Experience.

Image
Mr. Kimbob Tteokbokki Hi Loves! Alright so it’s been a while since I posted my last blog and honestly I kinda missed writing. It’s just that I have been busy with some stuff lately that I cannot squeeze in blogging on my daily routine. But Hey I’m BACK! And I will do my best to post weekly blogs for all of you! It’s a long weekend here now and I don’t have much thing to do than to watch TV and sleep. So I decided to make it more productive. Today I’m going to share with you loves my very first Ttekbokki experience. Most of Filipinos now are hooked on these Korean Dramas and went gaga over these handsome Oppas and pretty Unnis. I am not hiding my fondness over Korean dramas but I would say that “ME” being me, I am quiet more interested on their Food. So I went to Google and search for some of the famous food and from there I got to know one famous Korean street food the “Tteokbokki” or Spicy Korean Rice Cake. And OH! I got to see this dish as well on some Korean Dramas I’ve

Sinigang na Baboy ala Cassie Hi Loves, I'm here again for another recipe because heyy it's freakin Saturday!!! I'm so happy because it's long weekend here now and it means more time for blogging. The recipe that Im going to share with you is very personal because it's one of my favorite Filipino dish. Sinigang is actually a soup based dish made of pork, veggies and tamarind or any other souring agent (unripe mango, guava, kamias). And your right this is sour, perfect for rainy days. It's my comfort food to be honest. I like paring it with patis (fish sauce), kalamansi ( Philippine Lemon), Chili, and of course rice Yum!! On this dish you can also used other ingredients except from pork. You can also use beef, shrimp, fish and well chicken depends on your preference. I love my sinigang very sour it gives me the perfect kick of asim-kilig. Hahaha. This is so easy to make and I hope you enjoy making this as much as I do. Ingredients: 1 kl. Cu

Pork Dinuguan Recipe (Pork and Blood Stew) by Cassie

Image
Hi Loves, I'll be sharing another Filipino Recipe that has been a favorite among us Filipinos. Though not all of us doesn't like the idea of eating pigs blood this dish will surely be enjoyed once tasted either with rice or puto (Filipino type of Rice Cake). You guessed it right loves! Dinuguan. This dish comprised of pork made with pig's blood, vinegar and spices. Though a lot recipe's uses pork and pork intestines being an Ilokana I love adding sayote or unripe papaya to eliminate the so called “umay” factor and to add a little bit of crunch on the dish. This one is actually easy to make. Enjoy! Ingredients: ½ kilo pork cut into cube 2 pieces mediums sized dice sayote 1 cup vinegar 1 medium chopped onion 5-6 cloves of garlic, crush and chopped 3 pieces green chilis salt and pepper 5 tbsp. Cooking oil Cooking procedure: Mixed pigs blood with 1 tsp. of salt and add around ¾ cup of vinegar, set aside for ab

Goldilocks Choco Cake Slice VS Red Ribbon Moist Choco Slice

Image
Goldilocks Chocolate Cake Red Ribbon Moist Chocolate Cake Hi Loves, Today I'm going to do a comparison blog for a chocolate cake slice from 2 popular bakeshop here in the Philippines and that's Goldilocks and Red Ribbon. Yesterday I went to buy something for my pamangkins (niece/nephew) and decided to buy Goldilocks Choco Cake. I happen to pass by Red Ribbon kiosk and saw that they also got their own version. And right there and then  the idea of comparing them popped into my mind. Packaging:                                                               Goldilocks Packaging                   Red Ribbon Packaging                    In terms of packaging I think I would need to go with Goldilocks. It doesn't look too tight and more catchy for me. Price: Red Ribbon Moist Choco Slice cost 21 pesos for 67 grams while Goldilocks Chocolate Cake Slice is at 24 at 90 grams. So thats's 3 pesos for the additional

Giniling Guisado (Sauted Ground Pork) by Cassie

Image
Hi Loves! I'm here again for another round of cooking with Cassie. Today I prepared Giniling Guisado (Sauted Ground Pork). Giniling means ground and Guisado means to saute in English. The dish is very simple it consist of ground pork, garlic, onions,  potatoes, carrots, and pineapple chunks. I love making this dish because first it's very easy to make and more importantly it's budget friendly. If there's any left over there is nothing to worry because you can also used it as stuffing on tortang talong (fried eggplant w/ egg) or just put some beaten eggs on the left over and voila you have your own ground pork omelette, No food waste!  P.S. I prefer to buy whole pork then ask the butcher to grind it for me. From there I know that I only use pure ground pork.  Ingredients: 1/2 kl. ground pork  2 pcs.  potatoes cut into cubes 1 pc. carrot cut into cubes 1 medium onion chopped 4-5 cloves of garlic chopped cooking oil 1/2 cup of water 3 tbsp of soy sauce (yo

Song Review: Who Say's by Selena Gomez

Image
Hi Loves! Welcome back to my blog! I have yet another song review for you loves and this is the song called "Who Say's" by the lovely Selena Gomez which was released in March 2011. I have been in love with this song for years and it is still on my phone's playlist up to now. The songs message plus it's cool tune who would resist? I am a person who loves music. I nearly appreciate every genre, well depends on my mood too. But one thing that influence me in loving a song is the lyrics, the message the song wanted to impart to the  person who listens to it. And this one is an example. As discussed on my previous blog. I have been an insecure person. Afraid that people might not like me. Blending in was very difficult. Insecurities are all over. In this generation physical beauty is given a priority by so many. Cosmetics surgeries and enhancements, fashion trends to name a few are very rampant. I'm not saying that these are bad. Everything are entitl

Song Review: True Colors by Cindy Lauper

Image
Hi Loves! I have been thinking of writing a review about song lyrics lately but since there's a lot out there I can't seem to  choose a song that I can relate to somehow. Till one day this week my very adorable niece Sam was busy playing the movie "Trolls" she has on her tablet. Which  interest me not mainly because of the movie itself but because of this one particular song that the main characters sang in one part of the movie. And that song is "True Colors". Okay so the song was originally sang by Cindy Lauper but got a revival through Justin Timberlake and Anna Kendrick. So going back, I myself think that this song was wonderfully written and is about someone being afraid to show what they're really are because they feel that someone will judge and criticize them about it. But there will still be that one person that will love you unconditionally  and accept you from whatever your flaws and imperfections. I myself have been into a situat

Chicken Tinola Recipe (Chicken Stew) by Cassie

Image
Chicken Tinola ALA Cassie Hi Loves! So today is Saturday here and since it's a weekend it means no office work for me Yehey!! So I got all the time to sleep and just rest and be Lazy. But most importantly I got to do the things I love to do and one of that is to cook! My sister and her husband went to the market earlier today and bought some chicken and ask me to cook Chicken Tinola. Mainly because our little baby guy Lucas love it.  I myself love chicken cooked with broth because to be honest I'm a soup girl. To give you a brief background of what Tinola is it's actually a soup-based dish served as a appetizer or a main entree here in the Philippines. It's traditionally cooked in onions, ginger, garlic, sayote or papaya wedges and leaves of siling labuyo or chilli pepper or for some they used the malungay leaves (moringa). There's no exact history to where this dish has originated but the dish was mentioned in our National heroes book called Noli Me Tangere
